The Fluoropolymer hoses and their representative KYNAR ®
Rigid or flexible Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), fireproof to UL94 V0. Excellent resistance to chemical agents and gas impermeability, excellent resistance to ageing and
good dimensional stability, excellent impact strength. Hardness ± 80 shoreD and ± 68 shoreD.
KYNAR 4000 Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PDVF) is a pure semicrystalline homopolymer, containing about 59% of fluorine.
It is a noble material with no additives and excellent properties, including:
• excellent resistance to chemical products, even the most aggressive ones
• exceptional resistance to ageing, as it is totally unaffected by ultraviolet rays
• excellent thermal stability, no darkening when subjected to heat
• good resistance to abrasion
• good mechanical resistance
The crystallinity rate of Kynar 4000 has been selected to obtain excellent properties, such as gas impermeability or very
limited swelling in some solvents, whilst maintaining considerable impact strength and great stability.
KYNAR 2800 Polyvinylidene Fluoride, is a copolymer created for hoses requiring great flexibility and proven impact
strength.
• excellent resistance to abrasion
• excellent flexibility at room temperature
• excellent flexibility below zero, up to -20°C (-4°F)
• excellent stress resistance up to -30°C (-22°F)
• excellent tensile strength
• excellent thermal stability
• excellent resistance to ageing
• excellent resistance to chemical products, even the most aggressive ones
• resistant to the elements
• resistant to fungal attack
• fireproof to UL94 V0
